Title: Lunar Dust Experiments – What can they tell us about life on the Moon?
Brief Bio
Dr. Yeo is a NASA Postdoctoral Program Fellow at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, specializing in planetary science with a focus on dust and plasma interactions. Holding a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, her research explores the survivability of organic molecules on lunar soil and the hydroxylation processes affecting lunar regolith, key studies for advancing human exploration of the moon and beyond. With her background spanning from the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics in Boulder to the Singapore Synchrotron Light Source, Dr. Yeo’s work is pivotal in bridging theoretical science with practical applications in space exploration.
