Title:  Lunar Volatiles

Abstract

Lunar volatiles are important both as a window into the inventory of volatiles introduced to near-Earth space over time and as a potential resource to support lunar exploration. The understanding of whether ice and other volatiles exist on the Moon has transformed in this first quarter century. I will discuss what evidence exists about the presence of volatiles on the Moon.  Further, I will address what these data tell us about the sources, history, and future of lunar volatiles.
